I need your input - Are there different tolerances to bullying in different cultures?

While it's no suprise or secret that bullying occurs in pretty-much all race, cutures, and societies, I'd like to learn if the very definition of bullying changes from culture to culture...  What is and is-not acceptable behavior within each of our planet's multitude of race, cultures, and societies?

I was not able to find much information out here in the WorldWideWeb that discussed bullying viewed exclusively within a culture/society.  However, I was able to find plenty of information as how bullying occurs cross-culturally.  There's also piles of information addressing bullying of those who are of mix-race and culture.

For my readers across the world in your cultures, I need your help.  Please give me your experience with witnessing bullying or being bullied.  Also, please help me to learn and understand why there are differences within your society that allow tolerance for or even consider to be 'acceptable' behaviors while others are not.  Please be as specific as possible as your input is important.
