Why are Students Homeschooled? Bullying???

I had an interesting conversation with a martial-arts instructor friend who is responsible for one our organization's studios.  He had a student who suffered from Aspberger's Syndrom but was able to train successfully for several years.  Sadly, this young-teen was so brutally bullied...he ended his own life.  This tragedy sent shockwaves through his community, our organization, and the backlash from this event drew national attention and was part of a 20/20 hosted by Chris Cuomo feature in October this year.

My conversation with my colleague brought up some very interesting discussion points and a multitude of questions came up.... here is the one I'd like to ask of you today:

What percentage of our homeschooled youth were victims of bullying?

I was not able to find a specific answer to this question but I did learn that EVERY DAY - 160,000 students do not go to school for fear of being bullied.  This link does provide a considerable amount of information about the reasons why children are homeschooled but does not go too far into breaking down statistical data.
